Ardbeg Uigeadail – Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Ardbeg Uigeadail – Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Today We Drink neat and today we drink a fine Scotch whisky by the name of Ardbeg Uigeadail. Its an extremely smooth whisky that comes in at 54.2% ABV, if you are able to drink it neat at 54% ABV please do so, I like to get the serpents out and add little water to mine. I find this to be incredible dram for those of us who like a bit of the peat smokiness in our whisky.

My tasting notes are below

Nose: Smoky peat up front leading it self to a bit of ripe and dried fruits with a little honey and a tiny touch of citrus.

Palate: (with a few drops of water) Smoke, smoke and smoke, earthiness, but well balanced and smooth with a bit of espresso or chocolate. Great solid body even with the added water.

Finish: Long finish exposing some sweet liquorish twislers and more balanced peat smoke.

I love this Whisky.
